WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW!

Since my last blog, I have managed to buy and sell for Amazon to the grand total of £94.08 (with all fees taken care of). This is going really well. I am just trawling car bootys and picking up books and video games for next to nothing, and selling them for a profit. Not sure if this is counted as "doubling" as it is not officially doubling my original spenditure, in fact it is making more that double. So officially I should be putting the extra somewhere else, or spending it on me! But I am on such a high for this idea to be working that I want to just keep going! I suppose when the extra gets to a certain amount I might buy something for the house.

In the meantime, I must get back to my real world of work, and log off before the boss catches me.

Money for old rope (or should that read books?)

I have had a bit of trouble this last week trying to find money on the roadside etc. I don't seem to go to the places where people drop money I guess. So I decided to set my mind about other things (as most people do that do the doubling thing). I was given some books by my mum last summer to keep me busy on holiday. I decided to do some decluttering and put these books on Amazon. Well in two days I have made £17.88. This added to my previous 44p makes my grand double total £18.32. I think I shall go around table top sales and get some bargin books (with my £18.32) and put them on Amazon and just see how this goes. So far it has been easy money.I realise that I need to get the books from my original doubling money or people have to donate them to me. so may ask around friends to see if they have any books cluttering up their shelves.

Another Double!

I now have 44p. My friend said that she wanted to do her bit for me before it got too expensive, so she doubled my 22p to 44p, and asked me not to ask her again!!! At least she is taking me seriously and knows that I am going to get to a million, and wanted to help before she couldn't help any more! Thanks Mandy!!!

Sunday Stroll

My eldest son has just come back from a weeks ski-ing with school. He has come back with attitude and a girlfriend. He is 11 years old!!!! The sign of things to come me thinks.

So to take my mind off things I went for a walk down to the shops and low a behold found 2p. This makes my grand total 22p. Now this may not seem much to the general public out there, but for me it is a breakthrough. After all I didn't have a penny until the other day - now I have 22 of them!

I can't wait until I can really start doubling with the big boys. I shall keep you posted!

It Finally Happened!!!

Well, it finally happened. I had to tune into extra help (explained in a bit), but I manged to fnd my first shiny 5p last night. And in one evening I doubled it twice and now own a shiny 20 pence piece.

First let me explain my extra help. Well, since reading cosmic ordering books (anything for a little help in life!) I have had a "parking fairy". Without fail my parking fairy will find a nice easy space for me in the supermarket car park, one that is easy to get into a out off, without having to fight for it, and without any difficulties. This is exactly what I ask for. So I thought I would give my "doubling fairy" a bash. And, well as you can see from the above, it worked within minutes of asking!!!

Anyhow, we were out for an Indian with some friends, and I decided that I needed to get going with this doubling thing, so I asked one of my friends if he had 10p. When he produced it I just handed him back the 5p and said thank you. He was a little confused but I explained what my plan was, and he seemed happy to help. So happy infact, he later swapped the 10p for the shiny 20p I now own.

It was a great night, great food, great company and a great start to my doubling. Oh how happy am I?!?!?!

I will never make a good sales person. I managed to advertise my old blog site on doublers den, what a wally!

Major Crisis!!!!!

Oh Noooooooooo!!!

Went to get my 5p out of my trouser pocket and discovered that it had gone!!!!! Missing ... Lost .. Disappeared!!!!!

Is this because I found it in my own home? Is somebody trying to tell me something? Was it because I was going to exploit my own children?????

Oh well, back to square one. Searching the streets of Cumbria, trying to find the elusive penny.

I have so many ideas of how to double up, but nothing to start with. I hope this is the hardest part??? No don't tell me!!!
